To Insert a Tangent

Select the Insert Tangent tool.
A line beginning with POT TL appears in the Command list box between the To_POB and From_POB indicators and below the active (highlighted) line. The default value from the last tangent command appears on the command line and in the Length field.
When the Insert Tangent tool is selected only the Length input field appears.

Select the Length field, key in the length of the tangent, and press Enter.
The tangent length appears in the tangent command line converted to feet.
- Repeat steps 1 through 2 to place another tangent, use the Insert Bearing Line or Insert Curve tool to insert another type of description.
